Swahili Science Mastery

Our SMART Model excellence schools participation provides the practical building blocks schools need to teach the mastery of science using linguistic skills, practical insights and the events approach. To support deep understanding of scientific knowledge, Swahili

science, science education and science mastery, the ‘SMART Model ideas’ enables learners/students in Podcast studies make links between topics, and building ideas into a coherent picture of how linguistic skills can work. Putting it all together the SMART Model enables schools to share the mission to help all learners make progress in Swahili science inspired by like-minded schools and a well build-up community of practice. Partner schools under the Podcast
teaching network, are to continuously keep on sharing best -practices and learning from each other, attend events, including in-person induction training and our annual conference, to collaborate with and be inspired by peers or with linguistics in schools helping to gain insights and see Swahili science mastery in factual and conceptual understanding and action in application of knowledge and skills.

Schools are to use the science mastery resources and scientific literacy elevated through vocabulary knowledge instruction and a speech style in every lesson, helping students develop the skills to read scientific texts and to write and speak like scientists.
