Structuring Podcasting

Structuring Podcasting Participation into Linguistic Skillset Practice. Schools have looked at Podcasting and H.E President Museveni core to build a very powerful international Kiswahili language by putting in new Swahili words, and

English vocabularies (i.e.) Emyooga which means skills such as carpentry, poetry, and tailoring among others. With the SMART Model, it is now time to learn how participation is structured in the linguistic skillsets practice. Rationale: The need is on emphasizing the SMART Model Participatory Practice Planning Approach in the skillset contexts. Nevertheless, there is need for careful examination of the rationale for such an approach. Among the reasons why Podcast participation is advocated in the SMART.
Model include the views that:

  • Participation is a means of promoting information sharing, competition, re-tooling, consultations, collaboration, empowerment, ideas/ideal appraisal and ideation.
  • Participation is also seen to be of direct benefit to the participants, (both individually and, in the case of groups, collectively), in the sense that it increases their awareness and adding value to Kiswahili and English languages. Essentially, this is a more of a fundamental principle behind linguistic skills.
    Therefore, the SMART Model requires
linguistic resources amplifying or increasing potential multiplication as a means or ways
and scope of maximizing participation as -there should be participation in as many
stages of enhancing the linguistic skills.
