Practical Learning Plan

Our educators’ view considers English and Swahili languages to be of low value- status, and therefore insufficiently adapted to the needs of skillsets, scientific knowledge application and integrating hands-on learning experiences into the New Curriculum to enrich student understanding and engagement. Some of the student’s arguments that are used to lend credence to this include the lack of vocabulary knowledge, skillsets vitalization and speech styles in English and Swahili languages.

These arguments also include the lack of sufficient status for the two languages to be used spontaneously in the practical planning for Kiswahili in science and development studies. Purposefully, Kiswahili will have a well-entrenched status in the SMART Model that makes it qualify to be used in Schools and Knowledge Institutions.

In this schools’ practical learning plan for Kiswahili for knowledge development, educators wish to propose the Course that can be incorporated in the New Curriculum.
